Jason Gringler

Exhibition: June 12 to July 12, 2008
Reception: Wednesday, June 11th, 7 to 9 pm

For Jason Gringler, the moment between noticing an object's existence and
fully recognizing the significance the object holds is when he experiences the
most affecting changes applicable to his work. Fractured bits of architectural
information, picked up from his industrial Brooklyn neighborhood, are fused
together in the studio via multiple layers of mirror, spray paint, tape and
Plexiglas. Each work reveals a deeply personal narrative while engaging the
viewer in its glossy, yet tactile surface. Through this shared experience, the
artist exposes himself while drawing his audience into endless personal reflection.

Showing in the main gallery throughout the exhbition: Ted Zourntos "Outward is Inward."
